our priority and we strive to deliver todays medicine today. In fact B.M.C is Bundaberg's second oldest medical
practice, providing general practice care from 15 Barolin for over 90 years!
BMC’s Practice Principal Dr Ayobami Adeniji (Dr Ayo) leads the team with the passion and dedication needed to
continue to provide our community with National Standards in medicine. Each of our six doctors are highly trained and
skilled in all facets of General Practice. Furthermore, Burnett Medical Centre continues its long standing accreditation
with A.G.P.A.L (Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited), thus ensuring our standard of care is the best it can
be.
Burnett Medical Centre is also an accredited teaching facility for GP Registrars from James Cook University. Dr Drew
Speight & Dr Ayo are accredited JCU supervisors. Dr Speight is also a accredited JCU, ECT assessor. BMC prides
itself in providing a supportive and interesting learning centre for Australia's future GP's.
We are supported by our professional nursing and administrative staff, also trained in national standards so you can
be assured the entire team is providing you and your family with the best professional care.

To make an appointment please phone our friendly reception staff of 41512608 or alternatively, use our
online booking system, by clicking here, please see bottom of this page Reception staff will be happy to
inform you of our policy in regard to bulk billing. On the first visit there is a private fee payable, $66 with a
Medicare rebate applicable and as a general rule pensioners and veterans, health care card holders and
children under 16 years may be bulk billed after the first visit. After hours medical treatment: If you need a
doctor out of practice hours (see above) please phone the House Call Doctor Bundaberg Service on
135566. Details of your after hours consultation will be sent to your doctor at B.M.C. the next day.
